Understand How Today’s Demographics Will Shape Your Organization Tomorrow -  2014-2015

Demographic change normally progresses at a glacial pace, with steady, though often poorly understood, trends. This decade, however, is different.   Disruptive change is everywhere.  Witness the European financial crisis, the housing market collapse, the sudden increase in retirements, the increasing worker skills mismatch, the Occupy Wall Street movement, and the Arab Spring. All of these events and more are driven by today's unique demographic/economic alignment.

On October 15th get ready to hear from one of the country’s premier speakers on the future of our changing workforce and economy.

Who should attend this event?  Recruiters (both corporate and agency), Sales Professionals, and HR individuals.

How does this apply to me?  This presentation will provide you with relevant industry information to help make you better prepared to speak with your clients, candidates, leaders and so on about future needs and ways you can be effective in meeting those needs.

We are looking forward to seeing you all there.

Tom Gillaspy served as the Minnesota State Demographer from 1979 to March 2012.  During that time, he was involved with a wide-ranging set of issue, applying an understanding of demographic trends in such areas as the state’s economy, health care for an aging population, education, higher education, welfare reform, rural population change, labor shortages, immigration, housing, government spending, and the aging state workforce.

Tom is now the principal at Gillaspy Demographics, providing consulting, training, and speaking services on the rapidly changing American and Global demographics and their implications.
