Medical Admin Assistant Mock Interviews are a fantastic chance to support our graduating students in developing their career readiness skills. To some, interviewing comes as second nature, but can be a major barrier for others. At Summit, we want to do everything we can to break down those barriers so our remarkable students be the fantastic candidates we know they are. Summit invites our community partners to join us for mock interviews, in order to help set-up the realistic scenario of the interview process. We provide general interview questions and a rubric to help provide feedback, but encourage our partners to bring questions they would normally ask as well.

Summit Academy IT Hiring Fairs - Our hiring fairs are a great opportunity to network and connect with our current students, as well as some alumni. When students begin Week 18 of their 20 week program, they become eligible for On-The-Job Training (OJT). This means that, if they are in good academic and attendance standing, they can start working before they actually graduate. The credit hours they would have taken in class are just completed on the job, thus allowing them to still receive their certification and start working before their graduation date. These hiring fairs are an opportunity to have employer partners share with the entire graduating class a bit about their company, the open positions, and even interview students the day of to make an offer!
